JAYDEEP SHARMA

He is a Chess Coach of Amity International School, Noida. He has an international (FIDE) rating of 1900+. He is B.Com from Kirorimal College and very Sincere and hardworking Chess Teacher for beginners and intermediate students. He has participated in many national and international rating chess championships. He has also represented India at World Universities Chess Championship at Malaysia. He has good communication and inter-personal skills and is an active national player.

Achievements as a Player

  • Represented Delhi University in GACC World Inter-Varsity Chess Championship 2004 held at University of Malaya, Malaysia
  • Won 2nd position in Delhi State Open Rapid Chess Championship 2008
  • Won 8th position in Delhi State Open International Rating Chess Tournament 2008
  • Won 3rd Position in Delhi State Open Rapid Chess Championship 2007 held at Amity International School, Saket
  • Represented Delhi State in National Youth (U-25) Chess Championship held at Bangalore in 2002
  • won 2nd position (silver medal) in 49th National School Games Championship organised by School Games Federation of India
  • won the Delhi State Under-18 (Rapid) Chess Championship in 2003
  • declared Champion in Rotary Chess Championship held at Amity International School, Noida
  • won 3rd prize in chess during Rendezvous 2004, the All India Inter College Cultural Meet organized by IIT, Delhi
  • won 1st prize in chess during Rendezvous 2005, the All India Inter College Cultural Meet organised by IIT, Delhi
  • won Inter-College Chess Championship for 3 consecutive years (2004-2006)
  • represented Delhi University in All India Inter University Chess Championship in Bodh Gaya (2004), Vellore (2005), Kanpur (2006)

 

Achievements as a Coach

  • Amity International School, Noida got top 3 positions in many inter-school events and also some students performed very well at Delhi State Chess Championships.
  • worked in St. Mary’s School, Safdarjung Enclave, as a chess coach and the school team got good positions in many inter-school events.
  • worked for 2 years in National Bal Bhavan, New Delhi as summer chess instructor.
  • Imparted coaching to the girl’s team of Kirori Mal College, Delhi University which helps them to be in top 3 in Inter-College events.
  • Imparted private coaching to students of various reputed schools which helps them to prepare for stronger events.
