Deepak Batra is 1600+ FIDE rated player and a coach of Genius Chess Academy for last 1 year. He has a training experience of 2+ years at State level.

He is a Graduate from Guru Nanak College, Punjab University. He is very sincere teacher for beginners & intermediate students. 

Achievements as a Coach:

• Vayom Garg performed well in Delhi State Under 7 Chess Championship
• Katyayni Sharma got 2nd position in Delhi State Under 7 Girls Championship 2015
• Jay Kakar got FIDE rating, and got 3rd position in Soul Team Chess tournament in Nov. 2015

Achievements as a Player:

• Got 5th position (Total 959 players) in Delhi International Open B category 2019 
• Senior District Chess Runners up Consecutively in 2012-13
• Punjab State Under 19 Champion in 2013
• Represented Punjab State in National Under 19 Open Chess Championship 2013
• Won Inter-College Chess Championship in 2013 & 2015
• Secured 3rd position in Punjab State Senior Chess Championship 2014
• Played and secured good positions in many Open & FIDE Rating Events
